While distracting myself Iβm trying Tailwind for the first time. I have to admit that after I forced myself to open the docs and search for what I need a few times, the terseness is getting addicting.
It's full house at @NodeTLV and listening to @liran_tal talk about npm malicious packages that we might install by a typo π€¦π https://t.co/j3ZoAHvs8t
You know how you were worried about Brexit, then about the Coronavirus, and now about the US Elections? And how you'll soon get back to worrying about Coronavirus, before getting back to worrying about Brexit? In computer science, this is known as a 'call stack'.
I received a promotion to senior product designer! Usually I would be too shy to share this/outwardly celebrate my accomplishments but Iβm changing my habits. ππ₯³πππ»ββοΈ
@BungaHead @CurtisHouck @ComfortablySmug Attitudes like this are why I think everyone should work in food service at some point. Fucking up your order is not an indication of intelligence, and as a programmer, you should be aware that humans are bad at repetitive, menial tasks.
@IanColdwater I was unemployed through most of the housing recession, I feel much stronger about my capabilities now, and feel like I can get through this. Gotta do what ya gotta do.
Moving into new office. I'd like to do some π¨ Extreme Cable Management. I *like* and *use* all the stuff on my desk, so it's not a matter of getting rid of stuff, I just wanna tidy up the back. Or maybe get a different desk that has better ways to hide this stuff? https://t.co/0w9pS1CyaL
I know it seems like all I do is sit here and complain about rejections and not being enough, but don't get it twisted: I *AM* being proactive. Every day-- EVERY ππΎSINGLE ππΎDAY ππΎ -- I am coding. It may not reflect on my GitHub, but it sure as hell reflects on my blog.
One of my new year's resolutions is to take YouTube seriously. That is, to post 1 video weekly. I want to show that I can do it, despite my English accent. It's one of my challenges. Thus, any help is appreciated! π https://t.co/Jt5mJ67qqf

@brad_frost @meyerweb I am sad to say that I adopted this SCSS approach when starting a new big project a couple years ago. It really made the CSS for components feel good and clean and less repetitive (esp for BEM) ... But my biggest issue now is CTRL+F. Source maps don't help much with SCSS.
