Does anyone else have creativity hangovers? Like when you write something late in the night and really enjoy the result, then the next day you feel mildly revolted and embarrassed, and then in a few more days it’s OK again.

Years ago I saw an interactive essay where you could control the level of detail in the prose. It was either through a slider controlling detail of all segments, or each sentence being backed by a paragraph and you could click to expand. I can’t find it now, anyone have a link?

Here’s to another decade of backside ollies and all the moments in between: 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010 (omitted for space) and [very recently, so almost] 2020. https://t.co/LtKfHMoYXh

I sometimes resist identifying as a JavaScript (or web, or React) developer, despite obviously being one, because I think there are many languages and domains I would enjoy just as much. What I like is building software.

I have some specific business goals for this year, but my resolution as a designer is to make weirder things — use odd fonts, unlikely type pairings, draw strange glyphs, monograms, and logos. Be willing to make stuff that might be misunderstood or conceptually take some effort.

Everyone should be able to say stuff like: * Meet with Dan 2–3 times a month, don't care when * Book a meeting with these 10 people in the next two weeks * Find me 4+-hour work blocks with no interruptions And then you get a globally-optimal schedule for everyone's constraints.

@MattNavarra Hopefully there will be an option to stop statements appearing in your timeline. If someone is unwilling to have their views challenged or developed then I have no interest in hearing what they have to say.

Love these rugs by artist Alexandra Kehayoglou. A combination of sculpture and installation, art and craft, Kehayoglou’s pieces are both functional and environmentally conscious https://t.co/WqXh323xOU https://t.co/UM0pYxOkbH

@davatron5000 What you may prefer to do is use my https://t.co/29YaS03zrD url builder and give it a browserslist config to figure out the exact https://t.co/29YaS03zrD your website requires to work in the browsers you support -- https://t.co/bkOInBbafu
